Quite a few companies have been adding our Shopify plugin to their ecommerce stores. Obviously, we're delighted. Those installations seem to have gone smoothly, judging by the fact that we haven't gotten requests for support.

So far, anywhere from 10% to 50% of ecommerce customers have been opting to green their shipping. The conversion rate varies with the store. Some customer bases care more passionately than others about the carbon costs of their online purchases.
Overall, concern about sustainability is undeniably on the rise. Gallup has polled Americans about their environmental attitudes for decades. Most recently (March 2019), 47% of respondents said they worried a great deal about the quality of the environment, and 27% said they worried a fair amount. Only 26% said they worried only a little or not at all.
Just 4 years earlier, in March 2015, 34% said they worried a great deal, 34% a fair amount, and 32% a little or not at all. You can see a variety of Gallup poll results about environmental issues here; the depth of concern may surprise you.
