Cloverly Partners With Octavia Carbon for DAC Credits from Kenya

Cloverly is proud to partner with Puro.earth and Octavia Carbon to bring their direct air capture carbon credits to the Cloverly Marketplace. One of the first of its kind in the Global South, the new plant will have the capacity to capture CO2 from the atmosphere and store 1,000 tons of CO2 annually, thanks to the carbon mineralization technology provided by Cella.

The project, dubbed “Project Hummingbird,” is expected to start generating commercial carbon credits in October 2024, issued under the Puro Standard. The credits are available for pre-purchase through the Cloverly marketplace.
