Biochar allows them to improve overall soil fertility, reduce water and fertilizer use, and improve a crop’s resistance to prolonged water scarcity. Tierra Prieta’s biochar is also produced in flake form making it very easy to use with standard farming equipment.

Well-paying, non-seasonal work opportunities in Parras are very limited.
