Atlanta, GA / New York, NY, February 18th, 2026 – Today, Terraset and Cloverly announced a strategic partnership to expand access to high-quality carbon removal, methane mitigation and refrigerant destruction projects, while strengthening the operational foundation behind how philanthropic capital is deployed in the carbon markets.
Through the partnership, Terraset will source carbon credits through Cloverly’s platform and use Cloverly Catalyst as the system of record to manage the lifecycle of the credits it supports. This includes managing inventory associated with donor-funded purchases, tracking delivery timelines, and enabling clear, consistent engagement with donors and downstream buyers.
“Terraset exists to help early, high-impact climate solutions reach scale as soon as possible, and doing that well requires high-quality systems, operational rigor and transparency,” said Adam Fraser, CEO of Terraset. “Partnering with Cloverly allows us to focus our time and capital where it matters most, while giving donors and partners increased confidence in how that capital and its impact is managed over time.”
By centralizing sourcing, inventory, and operational workflows within Cloverly Catalyst, Terraset can operate efficiently with a lean team while maintaining the rigor, transparency, and accountability required to support donors and project developers alike.
“Markets mature when strong infrastructure meets high-integrity supply,” said Jason Rubottom, CEO of Cloverly. “Terraset is setting a clear example of how philanthropic capital can be deployed to scale the carbon market with the same operational discipline and transparency expected in more mature commercial markets.”
Supporting a Revolving Fund Model for Carbon Removal
As part of the partnership, Terraset and Cloverly are collaborating to support Terraset’s Revolving Fund model for carbon removal, anchored by an initial donation from the Schmidt Family Foundation but supported by an increasing number of donors and onward buyers.
All purchasing, inventory management, and resale activity will be managed through Cloverly Catalyst, creating a single system of record for credit status, provenance, and delivery as capital is deployed and self-sustained. The fund will support a range of high-impact carbon removal and methane mitigation pathways, including bioenergy with carbon capture and storage, mineralization, enhanced rock weathering, alkalinization, wastewater treatment, refrigerant destruction, small-scale methane abatement, and engineered nature-based solutions.
Enabling Trust, Transparency, and Operational Scale
The partnership brings greater structure and clarity to how philanthropic capital is deployed in the carbon markets, reducing friction from fragmented data and manual processes.
With Cloverly Catalyst, Terraset can manage inventory associated with donor-supported credits, track credits intended for resale or reinvestment, and engage donors with accurate, up-to-date project information. Together, Terraset and Cloverly are demonstrating how professional market infrastructure can support trust, accountability, and repeatable execution as climate solutions scale. The partnership reflects a shared belief that scaling climate impact requires not only funding, but systems that enable trust, accountability, and repeatable execution over time.
About Terraset
Terraset deploys philanthropic capital to high-potential, under-resourced climate solutions. With a focus on greenhouse gas removal, destruction, and abatement, Terraset pools tax-deductible donations and provides early, upfront funding for permanent greenhouse gas removal at the moments projects need it most. This early capital helps projects get built, validate their impact, and attract follow-on investment. By moving capital earlier, Terraset helps unlock markets and accelerate climate impact.
About Cloverly
Cloverly is a carbon market infrastructure company that helps project developers and suppliers operate, commercialize, and scale with confidence. Its flagship platform, Catalyst, serves as the operating system for carbon suppliers, providing tools to manage inventory, integrate with registries, connect to distribution channels, and sell high-integrity carbon credits more efficiently. By standardizing supplier workflows and data at the source, Cloverly improves transparency, reduces friction, and enables more effective participation across the voluntary and compliance carbon markets.
